Gifted and Talented Students Programs

Text: (required) 'Gifted and Talented students' means a child or youth who performs at or shows the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment and who:

Exhibits high performance capability in an intellectual, creative, or artistic area;
Possesses an unusual capacity for leadership or
Excels in a specific academic field.

CURRICULUM

Programs mainly designed for gifted and talented students of SWBS, students are learning advanced topics compared to their classmates.

Several resources are used for courses independent from regular textbooks.

SELECTION PROCESS

These programs accept students

By selection exam and/or
Observing candidate’s progress by subject teacher and/ or program coordinator.

OFFERED COURSES

According to number of students and needs, SWBS offer different courses in different fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, Information Technology, English or Art and Music.

WHO WILL TEACH

Selected students are followed by not only school teachers but also professionals may be invited to teach. Program coordinators are well trained in their fields.

Details of the offered programs are announced by schools during the academic year.
